This affection shows in the way she cares for those who feel desperate, lonely, hurt, or who simply need acceptance. Sylwia believes that even though we all have different backgrounds, we all ultimately want the same things--to feel loved and accepted, to have a sense of freedom and accomplishment, and to feel like our lives matter. Sylwia strives to help all of her clients discover that they are worthy and capable individuals. Her method consists of listening, affirming, and developing a genuinely caring therapeutic relationship. Together with her clients she explores which of the following issues are interfering with their ability to live a happy and fulfilling life: difficult relationships, isolation, lack of goals, lack of meaning, lack of hobbies, lack of exercise, lack of sleep, and/or challenging life experiences or trauma. She helps her clients examine each area of deficit through informal friendly conversation, set goals, and celebrate every step of progress no matter how small.
