Mandy Nelson, PMHNP
Mandy Nelson is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
​
Mandy was born and raised in Lehi, UT, and now lives in Altamont, UT. She has been married for 12 years, has 4 children, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and rabbits. She loves animals and people.
​
She received her Bachelor of Nursing from Ameritech College in 2014. She has worked in a variety of settings, including home health and hospice, labor and delivery, NICU, Alzheimer's and Dementia, inpatient psychiatry, and sexual assault examination.
​
She received her PMHNP degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 2025.
​
She is able to prescribe and manage medications for a variety of psychiatric and mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, sleep disorders, ADHD, schizophrenia, eating disorders, OCD, and autism.
​
She is focused on the person rather than the diagnosis and has a holistic approach to mental health care.
