Levels of Care Focus--Customized Recovery Options

Flexible Levels of Care Built Around Your Life and Needs

Recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey.  There are multiple levels of eating disorder care to ensure you receive the appropriate intensity of medical supervision, nutritional counseling, and psychological support.  Please note that Tranquility Counseling ONLY offers Outpatient therapy.  We partner with other facilities to provide higher levels of care as well as outpatient nutritional counseling.  We are happy to help you find the best fit at the appropriate level of care.

Residential Eating Disorder Treatment:  24/7 medical oversight, immersive daily therapy, and structured meal support in a home-like, soothing setting.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP):  Intensive full-day treatment that allows clients to practice recovery skills at home during the evening and weekends.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP):  Flexible therapy sessions held several days a week, ideal for stepping down from higher care or maintaining recovery alongside school or work.

Outpatient Therapy & Nutritional Counseling:  Ongoing weekly support with specialized therapists and registered dietitians to foster long-term stability.

Therapeutic Approach--Efficacy and Clinical Excellence

Holistic, Evidence-Based Therapies for Deep Healing

At Tranquility Counseling Services, true healing goes beyond nutritional rehabilitation.  We utilize proven therapeutic modalities to address the underlying trauma, anxiety, depression, and perfectionism that often drive eating disorder symptoms.  We also partner with facilities to provide the help needed in addition to general outpatient therapy.

Our integrative treatment approach includes:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & DBT:  Practical tools to challenge distorted thoughts and manage distressing emotions without turning to eating disorder behaviors.

  •

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT):  Align your daily actions with personal values rather than body image fears.

  •

  • Individualized Nutritional Therapy:  Worked on with registered dietitians outside of Tranquility Counseling who specialize in intuitive eating and meal planning without judgment or rigid rules.

  •

  • Family Based Treatment (FBT) & Support Groups:  Involving families and loved ones to create an empowering support system at home.

  •

  • Experiential Therapies:  Art therapy, equine therapy, yoga, and movement integration to foster mind-body connection and emotional healing.  These therapies are provided by our outside partners and are not included in general outpatient therapy.
