Melissa is currently a Graduate student at Abilene Christian University for Marriage and Family Therapy.  She is a thoughtful and compassionate listener.  Melissa is excited to find creative approaches to life's everyday challenges.

After spending her growing up years in Texas, she attended Ricks College and continued at BYU-Idaho.  After living in Idaho for ten years, she moved to Utah and loves the four seasons here.

Melissa has worked in therapeutic, healthcare, and education settings.  She especially enjoys working with youth, teens, and young adults.  She is currently the Teacher Manager at a local year-round outdoor nature program for 3-11 year olds.

Melissa has been married for 23 years to her college sweetheart.  They are proud military parents and currently share a home with 2 of their children and 2 dogs.  As a mom to ADHD boys, she has learned firsthand how to approach neurodivergence with youth.  Some of her favorite things are Aqua Zumba, travel adventures, cinnamon chocolate gummy bears, and the outdoors!
