As an avid hiker, Matt understands that sometimes we climb grand mountain peaks, and other times we wander in dark valleys of fog. After building an 18-year career in finance, Matt intentionally decided to transition into counseling. He is deeply passionate about mental health and its impact on every aspect of how one functions. An excellent listener with a compassionate nature, Matt is driven to support others in meaningful, human-centered ways. He fosters honesty, resilience, and self-awareness, believing that meaningful change begins with understanding and empathy. Currently, Matt is a second-year graduate student at Rocky Mountain University, pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has been married for 24 years and has five boys. Recently, he and his family relocated to Utah from Northern California. Matt enjoys being active in nature, capturing amazing drone footage, and writing and producing music.
