​​Carolyn is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She completed her graduate work at Abilene Christian University. She has worked in residential treatment for substance addiction and trauma recovery as well as in private practice. She has 22 years experience working in the hospital setting as a Child Life Specialist with children and families.
Carolyn utilizes talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and is trained in EMDR and play therapy. She specializes in marriage counseling, anxiety, depression, family relationships, and building coping skills for life's challenges.
Carolyn is an active member of her non-denominational church. She is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, outdoors, music, cooking and gardening.
